Deliveries
Placing order before 9.30 am for next day delivery (depending on availability)
Melbourne – Monday to Saturday.
Regional Victoria- we deliver to Mornington Peninsula, Ballarat, Geelong, Bendigo, Wangaratta and Shepparton areas. Delivery to these areas is subject to availability and truck schedules. Contact the office for delivery fees and availability.
It is advised to place your order in advance to ensure preferred delivery date, especially for peak periods such as Christmas and long weekends.
Farm Pick Up
Turf can be collected from our farm if ordered by 9.30am the day prior to pick up. Pick up times are Tuesday to Friday, 8.30am-11.30am.
Farm address is 88 Ekberg Road, Seymour VIC. 1-hour drive from Melbourne Airport.
An order of 40m² of turf weighs approximately 1 tonne.
Tasmania
Orders can be placed:
Phone orders during office hours 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
Deliveries
We require 3 days’ notice for delivery (depending on availability).
Southern Tasmania- Tuesday to Friday.
Northern Tasmania- Tuesday to Friday, 3 days’ notice for preferred delivery day.
Farm Pick Up
Turf can be collected from our farm if ordered with 48 hours’ notice, Tuesday to Friday.
Farm address is 70 Back Tea Tree Road, Richmond, TAS.
An order of 40m² of turf weighs approximately 1 tonne.
StrathAyr have temporarily altered our business operations and implemented precautionary measure due to health risks associated with the potential spread of the COVID-19 virus. We have suspended the option of turf pickups from the Seymour farm and deliveries to residential sites can be to the kerbside only with no property access allowed. Thank you for your understanding and support.
All our trucks are fitted with forklifts for unloading. Turf is delivered to kerb-side.
Our turf is delivered on push off pallets, with approximately 50m² of turf per pallet.
We will send you an SMS with your approximate delivery time by 4pm the day prior to delivery. On the day you will receive an SMS which allows you to track the delivery on your smart-phone in real-time.
In peak periods – long weekends and Christmas week – please order your turf early to ensure delivery on your preferred day.
On-line orders require a minimum 3 business days notice.
Order grass from your computer, tablet, or smart phone – from the office or your lounge room. Pick your delivery time and watch it unload onto your nature strip, as soon as the next day.
